On November 23, 2012 music festival 'Sonata Islands' in Trento (Italy) hosted an ad-hoc ensemble inspired by Zeuhl and John Coltrane, with a touch of Canterbury sound: Emilio Galante (flute), Giovanni Venosta (keyboard), Alberto Turra (guitar), Stefano Senni (bass) and Francesco Cusa (drums) performed 'Sohïa' and the final section of 'MDK', within a program of original material entitled 'Zeuhl Jazz'. Ça sonne superbe ! J'ai récemment reçu le CD "Sonata Islands goes RIO", d'Emilio Galante avec d'autres musiciens mais dans le même esprit. Merci pour le lien !

Now they call themselves Sonata Islands Kommandoh: new line-up, brand new original material, and a definite taste for classic Magma. With a rockier edge to it! Emilio Galante (flutes), Giovanni Venosta (keyboard), Alberto Turra (guitar), William Nicastro (bass), Sergio Quagliarella (drums).
